Mani Ratnam may be busy with promoting his Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Raavan’ but his shrewd mind has leapt back to the shelved project Lajjo. Lajjo was supposed to be filmed a long time back but was shelved due to budgetary problems.

But, now that the whole world including Mani Ratnam has witnessed the scorching chemistry of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the biggest Bollywood grosser ‘3 Idiots’, Mani is contemplating unearthing the flick from its grave.
As per reports, he has decided to breathe new life into the project and is prioritising it over his next caper with hottie Ranbir Kapoor. And, the killer-eyed Kareena who has always been gaga about Aamir, is more than just delighted.
Ecstatic, elated and over the moon actress gushes, “I will be too happy. Giggly, girlie, Barbie doll roles don’t bring out the actor in me. I want to be challenged. I can’t play the singing, dancing mannequin any more. I’ve realised that as an actor, playing varied roles is what I enjoy the most. I’m starving for good roles. My characters in Ra.One and Saif’s home production Agent Vinod are powerful roles.”
Of course, Saif Ali Khan’s girlfriend is going places these days with all the biggies falling in her kitty and who better than to have Aamir Khan served hot and fresh on her plate………?
