After seven long years, B-town favorites Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan are finally back together on the big screen! The Refugee co-stars are set to headline Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie Heera Mandi. Abhi and Bebo worked together in J.P. Dutta’s 2000 drama Refugee and were later seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s 2003 flick Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon.

Bebo has been lobbying for quite some time now in order to get Bachchan junior on board and it looks like her hard work has paid off! The B-town beauty has said that she would love to make another movie with Abhishek: “If a producer was to cast Abhishek and me together, I would definitely be happy,” Kareena recently told reporters according to The Times of India.
At the time Abhi was busy shooting Raavan with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and didn’t have time to hook up with the Kurbaan star on the silver screen again. But apparently that didn’t mean that the two Bollywood big shots wouldn’t work on a movie together ever again and now a lot of fans’ dreams have come true.
And so has Bebo’s wishes! The Heera Mandi director is currently working with Hrithik Roshan and Ash on the movie Guzaarish, but as soon as he is done he will start shooting Heera Mandi with Abhi and Bebo! We’re sure fans can’t wait!
The movie is named after Lahore’s red-light district called The Royal Neighborhood, where prostitutes perform sensual dances for clients. Needless to say, Kareena will play a prostitute.
