Ace filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has finally inked upon the title Heroine for his next venture, which stars Kareena in the lead role. However, if sources are to be believed, filmmaker had a tough time in doing so. So much so, he had to pay rupees one-lakh just to acquire the title in his name for the film which is bio-epic of Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.

The sources further add that initially Madhur in a search for a one-word title had to actually wrack his brains to come up with a perfect one. And then to his much disappointment filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa had the rights of the title for he was going to make the film with the same. Nevertheless, Madhur didn’t give up and acquired the rights by donating one-lakh to Guddu’s charity.

As they say ‘All is well that ends well’. So, it did for Madhur and now is totally engrossed in the research process and all geard up for rolling.
