Nowadays, most stars can be found in one of the many social networking sites, be it Twitter, Facebook or something else.

However, there’s a motley group who judiciously choose to stay away from it. But that doesn’t prevent them from snooping on the Internet to find out what netizens are talking about them.

For example, actor Kareena Kapoor has chosen not to be on any of the networking sites. But she makes sure that she is up-to-date with what is being published about her on the net.

“I have set a Google alert in my name. Though I prefer not to be on any social networking site, that shouldn’t hinder my knowledge about what’s going on around me. But to tell you the truth, the alert has become more of a pain because most of the things that keep on appearing there on the blogs or gossip websites are not true,” says Kareena.
