Poor Kareena Kapoor was left in a real dilemma when she had to choose between prior commitments to Shah Rukh Khan and watching her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan perform at a concert. However, she proved to be a thorough professional and skipped her beau’s concert to dance at a children’s day event hosted by SRK’s production company Red Chillies.

Tensions were hot with Kareena and SRK in the past when she refused to do Kal Ho Na Ho for money issues. Since then, they have called it truce of course but Bebo knows better than to restart drama with King Khan and kept her word to him.

The other day we read about Saif and Bebo expressing their desire to work together in commercials. And guess what, the duo has already been approached for a new LG commercial. The latest buzz is that Saif and Bebo were offered the project when Aishwarya refused to do the commercial together with Abhishek. The electronic brand wanted a real-life couple who would also make it big on TV a la Ajay and Kalol.

Informs a source, “Yes, it’s true. LG Electronics had approached the Bachchans. They wanted Abhishek and Aishwarya as the brand ambassadors. But Abhi-Ash were not too keen on doing it. Now we are waiting for an approval from Saif and Kareena.”

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan doesn’t mind media attention, but asking her questions related to her brother Saif Ali Khan and his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor definitely rubs her the wrong way.

“It’s very frustrating when people ask me about them, but it doesn’t annoy me any more. I very calmly and politely ask the media not to ask about them (Saif and Kareena),” Soha said.

“Not because I don’t want to speak about my brother or Kareena, but because I don’t speak for them in case the media is not able to reach them. I don’t want to be their spokesperson. Also, these questions are often private and I’m not comfortable with that,” she said.

The comedy film “Golmaal Returns” is a copy of the 1973 production “Aaj Ki Taza Khabar”, a complainant told a film producers’ forum Tuesday.

Shakuntala Bhatia lodged a complaint with the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) that “Golmaal Returns”, which was released Oct 29, was a direct copy of her husband, producer Rajendra Bhatia’s “Aaj Ki Taza Khabar”, starring Kiran Kumar, Radha Saluja and Asrani.

She said she came to know of the similarities of the stories between the two movies only after she read reviews of “Golmaal Returns” in a Bollywood trade magazine Monday. She substantiated her claim, saying the reviewers had also noted as much in their magazines.

Saif Ali Khan has just been offered a chance by Imtiaz Ali to have his dream come true. The actor, who is passionate about playing the guitar, is all set to play a rock star in the director’s next venture.

“It’s a film called ‘Rock Star’. I don’t know if I’m equipped to handle it. Rock music is about a lot of attitude. More than just playing with an attitude, it’s a way of thinking. I need to be more true to the music. It’s easy to call any star a rock star. But I think it’s more than your lifestyle. It’s about being able to live your life the way you want,” Saif told IANS in an interview.

Actor Saif Ali Khan has set media speculation to rest by saying actress Kareena Kapoor and he ‘would certainly be getting married in the next three to four years.’ The two have been going steady for some time now.

‘Right now, we have our individual careers to look out for. Please, allow us to concentrate on our careers. I’m especially worried about how such rumours would affect Kareena’s career. Bebo confirmed the news for us and revealed, “Yes. Recently, I was offered a big show on television. I have been living out of suitcases for some time now. I have hardly had a breather. I would like to do television, but say, after two years.”

Another source reveals, “The producers of the show and the channel were very keen that Kareena should host the show. They were very disappointed when she refused.”

Actress Anjana Sukhani, who played Tusshar Kapoor’s romantic interest in the recently released Golmaal Returns, feels she was given a raw deal in the publicity and marketing campaign of the multi-starrer laugh riot. “I was nowhere to be seen in the Golmaal Returns publicity. But I’m not complaining. Kareena Kapoor is very, very hot. And she’s fantastic. She’s worked hard to get where she is. She does deserve every bit of the prominence in the Golmaal publicity,” says Anjana.

Kareena refuses to divulge her birthday plans with Saif, but Aamir will be part of the D-day for sure. Kareena Kapoor has many reasons to look forward to her birthday on September 21 - one of them being shooting with Aamir Khan, her favourite actor. “On my birthday I will be shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s Three Idiots in Ladakh. And the best part is that I will be shooting with my favourite actor, Aamir Khan,” Kareena said.
