But the main news is that Rani is cast along with Kareena Kapoor in the project and Kareena who is otherwise famous for her cat fights and sarcastic comments has rather impressed Rani with her attitude this time.

Impressed Rani says, “Kareena’s a fabulous actress and she just keeps getting better and better by the day. It’s fun meeting her at social dos and she’s very entertaining. We’ve made a connection during Mujhse Dosti Karoge and she always exudes very warm vibes.”

Though on one hand we have never seen Bollywood tiring from giving us the news of various competitions and bitching between female actresses, however Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor seems a little different. Let’s see where this new friendship heads.

Kareena Kapoor has let down her family big time. It’s learnt that the entire Kapoor clan is cross with the actress for giving her grandfather Raj Kapoor’s event a massive ignore.

According to reliable sources, ‘The Kapoor’s were to inaugurate a function that paid tribute to the legendary Raj Kapoor. While the family was in full attendance, Bebo, who was supposed to attend this event, was conspicuous by her absence and now it is learnt that the Kapoor clan is extremely upset with Bebo for missing this big event.’

Some sources further add that when it comes to being with Saif, Bebo will not miss a single chance and makes sure that she makes time for it. But, this time, when it was her turn to come up in support of her own family, the actress has completely let them down.

With Bebo giving preference to Saif over her own family, looks like she has tipped off the balance in her tight rope walk this time around.

With the beginning of Indian Premiere League, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has a surprise for everyone.

A source close to King Khan stated that Shah Rukh is planning to invite Kareena Kapoor to cheer for his team Kolkata Knight Riders at the IPL.

A source stated “Kareena is the female lead in Ra. One and the actor wants to club the promotion of his film with IPL.”

The source added “Kareena will soon join the Delhi schedule of Agent Vinod, but she has been asked by SRK to try to make it to the KKR matches.”

Shah Rukh had promoted his film “Ra One” during the recently held World Cup by buying an advertisement spot. And now the actor is looking forward to garner attention for his upcoming home production “Ra One” via IPL too.

Kareena Kapoor along with Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor had promoted their film “Tashan” during IPL 2008. Hope this time too Kareena agrees with Shah Rukh to promote their upcoming film at the IPL.

The opening ceremony of the IPL conducted by Wizcraft will be a short and colorful affair with lots of singing and dancing performances.

The performers list include Sona Mahapatra of ‘Paas aao na’ fame along with renowned singers such as Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala and Akriti Kakar.

Kareena Kapoor will add star power to the IPL which is starting today in Chennai. All the credit goes to Shahrukh Khan because King Khan is the man who brought Kareena Kapoor to the stadium. Unlike last year, Kareena will not cheer for Mumbai Indians. This time she will cheer for Kolkata Knight Riders standing by Shahrukh’s side. Kareena Kapoor vamped it up in a sheer, pink, heavily embellished sari at the launch of The Great Indian Wedding Carnival at Hotel President on Cuffe Parade, Mumbai, Thursday, April 7.

The 30-year-old hottie left us drooling by tying the sari well below her navel and pairing it with a sequined mini halter blouse.

She accessorized with exquisite diamond jewels – chandelier earrings and a bracelet on her right arm.

Her long hair, colored dark brown and styled straight with a middle parting, cascaded down her shoulders.

She wore standout eye makeup – thick eyeliner on lids and pink sparkling eyeshadow – and pink lipstick. A jeweled bindi and light pink nail polish rounded her festive looks.

In the midst of uplifting performances by singers and a wedding band, Kareena remained cheerful even when the assembled media tiresomely questioned her about her own wedding plans. She evaded the questions deftly, revealing no new information.

‘The Great Indian Wedding Carnival’ is a mega-shopping festival organized by India’s leading jewelery brands, launched to coincide with the Indian marriage season. It runs from April 8 to May 15 this year.

And the time seems to have arrived for Kareena Kapoor to fulfill her promise. Buzz is that the actress, who plays the female lead in the super hero flick, will soon join Twitter to not only interact with her fans and admirers but also promote Ra.One.

An industry source said, ” Bebo is not very tech savvy and so she refrained from taking to social networking. But now with Ra.One trailers up on air and generating a lot of interest, Kareena will follow her co-star SRK who has been one of the most active actors on Twitter.”

Sources have it that with Kareena joining the network, King Khan, who has been lying low since sometime, will too get more active.

In a world steeped in the quagmire of competition, it is but natural to have people confronting one another. While some of them are direct, most are insidious with people trying to exploit a situation to their advantage.

Quite recently, Kareena seemed to have been similarly confronted with Deepika claiming that she was originally considered for a number in SRK’s Ra One. The film features Bebo opposite King Khan and according to the reliable sources the film does not involve the use of any item number. The concerned number being highlighted by Deepika can in no way be considered as an item number. According to the director, it is an integral part of the film. Kareena being the female lead is rightly enacting the peppy dance number.

Deepika’s claim that she was initially chosen for the hot number, has naturally upset Kareena. But the seasoned actress finds it amusing as well. To all intents and purpose, the starry eyed Deepika is only voicing her frustration, with the failure of another of her dance number.

While audience still waits the release of SRK produced Ra One, claim and counter claims regarding one of its dance numbers have come out into the open. With competition being the key word such issues should be taken in stride.
