Kareena Kapoor Accompanying Saif Ali Khan to London for ‘Cocktail’ Shoot

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are jetting to London today for the filming of Homi Adjania directed Cocktail.

No, Kareena and Saif are not the lead stars of the film; Saif and Deepika Padukone are.

Kareena is accompanying Saif in the capacity of his partner.

This year Deepika is doing three films with Saif. Besides the soon to be released Aarakshan, there is Cocktail and Abbas Mustan’s Race 2. You would think that would cause Kareena to become insecure.

Priyanka Chopra to join Kareena Kapoor in ‘Race 2’

After Kareena Kapoor grabbed the female lead role from Bipasha and Katrina in ‘Race 2’, news has it that Priyanka is all set to join the bandwagon.

Talking about the newfound development to a news daily, a source said, “Katrina’s absence was almost certain because her character in ‘Race’ dies, but Bipasha’s absence is certainly surprising.”

Meanwhile, a close pal of Priyanka’s confirmed the news and said, “Priyanka still has to complete ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’. She will then move on to ‘Don 2’ and the TV Series ‘Fear Factor 3’. But she is excited about the character she’ll play in ‘Race 2’ and is working out her dates for the project.”

Abhishek-Kareena turning friends again?

Looks like Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor are finally putting their differences aside. The two, who haven’t worked together since Abhishek’s marriage to Karisma Kapoor was called off, may star in Abbas Mustan’s next, which is a remake of the Hollywood film, Italian Job. Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh are also expected to be part of the project.

Saif Ali Khan was supposed to be part of the film originally. But he didn’t have the dates and the role went to Abhishek Bachchan. This is the first time Abhishek and Kareena will be in a film together since Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon in 2003.

Bebo turns down Italian Job for money

Sources say the two had almost zeroed in on Kareena Kapoor but she stepped back as she was not happy with the money being offered. This, despite having worked with them in three films – Ajnabee, Aitraaz and 36 China Town.

The sources add the directors are finding it difficult to get an actress as good as Kareena for the film now.

Bipasha is no problem for Kareena Kapoor.

She gave her word that she’d be a part of the film whenever the script was ready. The race in Bollywood to see which actors get the coveted roles of Mark Wahlberg and Edward Norton in Abbas-Mustan’s official remake of
Hollywood’s 2003 hit, The Italian Job, is over.

And, the winners have been declared: Saif Ali Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh respectively. The Hollywood film is itself a remake of the 1969 British original by the same name starring Michael Caine. And Abbas-Mastan, Bollywood’s masala-suspense filmmaking brothers, have been considering all our coolest actors from John Abraham to Ranbir Kapoor for the lead roles.
