Bollywood chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor, who had an unceremonious break-up with Kareena Kapoor, is still nursing the wounds of betrayal.

Apparently, Shahid, who invited all his ex-lovers to his birthday bash in a suburban lounge bar in Mumbai on 25th February, deliberately omitted Kareena from the guest list, whose name was conspicuous by her absence.

Even as Shahid and Kareena are yet to become friendly, talking to a daily, a source said, “He had invited all the girls he had been linked with in the past such as Amrita Rao, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra (with whom he had split just before his bash!), but Kareena was omitted!”

Eventually, none of Shahid’s so called girlfriends turned up at his birthday bash, pleading pre-occupation.

According to a source, Vidya Balan was sick, so she couldn`t make it to the event, Amrita Rao had prior engagements and Priyanka Chopra was busy in the US.

Talking about Kareena-Shahid split, a source close to the actress said, “There are some issues that need to be sorted out. Though Shahid and Kareena are amiable to each other in public and wish each other well in life. Even Kareena wouldn`t invite Shahid to her parties so it doesn`t matter.”

“The actress was in Bhopal spending time with beau Saif Ali Khan during her ex-boyfriend`s birthday. So she wouldn`t have been able to attend the birthday party even if she had she been invited,” added the source.

Shahid Kapoor, ever since, his Bollywood debut has been making ‘Ish Vishq’ gossips for his alleged link ups with his co-stars! There is hardly any co-star left with which he hasn’t courted gossip.
It was years ago that he was 1st linked with the ravishing Amrita Rao. After all, the duo made for a scintillating pair in ‘Ishq Vishq’. But, after the scandalous mms clip of liplock, it was only Kareena Kapoor who brewed Koffee with him. In fact, let’s give it to the duo. They were bold and daring enough to admit to their love story openly.
But, the Bollywood planet was in for some rocking news when it emerged that Kareena has dumped him to rub cheeks with Tashan co-star Saif Ali Khan. And since then, Shahid has been tossing from one feminine arm to the other.
He was associated with Vidya Balan during their ‘Kismat Konnection’ days and he also courted the tennis sensation Sania Mirza (off her court).
But finally, it was Vishal Bharadwaj who made him bump into his next girlfriend in ‘Kaminey’. Priyanka Chopra, who had been going single after her split with beau Harman Baweja, found a soul mate in the dashing Shahid and currently, they are hogging the entire arch light.

Though, they are keeping mum about their affair, there is no doubt as to their on-going romance. But how will this episode transpire? Will it go the distance or run out of steam? Only time has the power to announce the verdict!

What’s even more interesting was that when ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor learnt about Shahid’s party, she planned an impromptu dinner party at Saif’s Bandra home the same night.

Says a source, “Shahid’s bash was at a lounge bar of a suburban five-star hotel. The guestlist had Vidya Balan, Amrita Rao and Priyanka Chopra all of whom he has been romantically linked to! Meanwhile, ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor was not invited.

Others included Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder, his Kaminey director Vishal Bhardwaj, Sajid and Wardha Nadiadwala, Ken Ghosh, Ahmed Khan and wife Shaira, designer Shabina Khan and trainer Abbas.”

Shahid was shooting in Jodhpur for Yash Raj’s next with Rani Mukherjee and flew down for a day for the party. He came on Tuesday and boarded for a flight back yesterday morning.

Apart from B-Town folk, the party also included Shahid’s dad Pankaj and stepmom Supriya Kapoor, their children Rohan and Sanaa, Shahid’s brother Ishaan (Shahid’s mother Neelima Azim and Rajesh Khattar’s son) Shahid’s close friend from Bangalore, Shriram were also present.

Bebo had a party? A source adds, “When Kareena heard about Shahid’s party at Sajid Nadiadwala’s party on Tuesday night, she immediately decided to host her own at Saif’s Bandra home though hers was a gathering of select friends like designer Aki Narula, her make-up artiste, Mallika Bhatt, designer Shabina Khan (who was also invited to Shahid’s party), Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora Khan, Arbaaz Khan and a few others.”

A source close to Kareena says, “What rubbish! Kareena didn’t throw any party. She was shooting double shifts for Rensil D’ Silva’s next and some patchwork for Kambakht Ishq. Maybe designer Akki Narula threw some party but Bebo wasn’t involved in it.”

MUMBAI: The Stardust Awards 2009 was held on Sunday, 15 February, 2009 in Mumbai. The who’s who of the industry was present at these awards. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan with Amar Singh, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, Rekha, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Ashutosh and Sunita Gowariker, Farhan Akhtar, Boney and Sridevi Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman, Amrita Rao, Asin, Neha Dhupia, Koena Mitra, Abbas-Mustan, Anu Malik, Genelia D’Souza and many more graced the red carpet.

The award ceremony was like none other in recent times. In fact Amitabh Bachchan has echoed this in his blog where he says that MAX Stardust Awards have always rewarded areas that have been either ignored or not brought up for consideration, and that is what is different about them in comparison with some of the other ceremonies.

The hosts of the evening were Minnisha Lamba and Tusshar Kapoor. Fresh from the success of ‘Golmaal Returns’, Tusshar kept the audience enthralled .

The highlight of the evening was Anil Kapoor’s performance on stage.For the first time in seven years he danced to the tracks of some of his most popular numbers from Woh Saat Din to Ram Lakhan and many more. He ended the medley with a performance on the signature song ‘Jai Ho’ from the acclaimed ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ saluting the spirit and success of Bollywood.

While accepting the special award bestowed upon him for taking Indian cinema global and completing 30 years in Hindi cinema, Anil Kapoor remarked, “This is my Oscar!”
