Kareena Kapoor will draw inspiration from four Hollywood icons – Ava Gardner, Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe – for Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine. She plays a Bollywood actress in it. Bhandarkar has specially prepared a documentary featuring the four legends for Kareena to prepare for her role.

If the absence of Bollywood greats from Kareena’s method preparation for the role amazes you, Bhandarkar’s explanation for it is even more baffling. “I haven’t found anything interesting about Indian actresses,” he declares.

Life in a Metro changed a whole lot of things for Anurag Basu. Gangster that was released earlier was a hit, but he was confined to the Bhatt camp before this movie happened.
It was a movie that gave him and all his actors a lot of fame and showed a different side of their skills. With Metro he could break free, gave him a chance to work with the Roshans and now has reportedly successfully wrapped up Kites for them with Hrithik Roshan.

Life in a Metro changed a lot of lives, be it the lives of the actors in the film, who got to show off their acting skills, or the life of director Anurag Basu.
It was Metro that landed him the golden opportunity to work with the Roshan family on upcoming release Kites which, if rumours are anything to go by, has now successfully wrapped up. Talk in town is that Mr Basu is going to be working with real life jodi Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in a sequel to his mega hit – Metro 2.
