Deepika Padukone is turning fitness guru like Kareena Kapoor. Like Bebo, she too, is helping writers and yoga trainers to come out with books on fitness.

She isn’t going size zero but is getting friendly with fitness gurus and was seen launching a book and DVD called Jaldi Fit by Namita Jain. It is only natural for Deepika’s new found ‘friend’ Siddharth Mallya’s name to pop up, since he has lost a lot of weight recently. Will she now dole out tips to him? Talking about weight issues she said, “Losing weight is really difficult and when you do it, you do it for yourself and not for anyone else.” Wonder if she has got a copy for her friend!!

Kareena will be seen playing a mother in two upcoming releases — the Karan Joharproduced We Are Family and Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra. 1 . We Are Family is the remake of the 1998 Hollywood blockbuster, Stepmom , with Kareena reprising Julia Robert’s role. She will be seen as the stepmom to the kids of Kajol, who will play the role done by Susan Sarandon in the original.

Bollywood belle Kareena Kapoor has had a change of heart! After proudly announcing that she is a ’size zero,’ the popular actress has gone back on her words and has now come out to say that she wants to gain weight and become ‘perfectly rounded.’
Remember when B-town babe Bebo told the world that she was a proud ’size zero?’ Well, that has all changed now! When Kareena signed on to become a size zero model for Sony Vaio’s new series of super thin ‘Size Zero’ laptops, she said that “I think in India, size zero means being slim. Every girl wants to be really slim and I think I am quite slim. India’s size zero is associated with me and I am proud of that.”

‘Kambakkht Ishq’ which starred some Hollywood personalities, has been voted the worst film of 2010, wits its heroine Kareena Kapoor being voted the worst actor in the Second Annual Golden Kela Awards held over the weekend.

Actor Harman Baweja and director Ashutosh Gowariker won the worst awards in their respective categories for the film “What’s Your Rashi”.

Interestingly, Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards won the ‘Bawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke’ award for ‘Kambakkht Ishq’. The avant garde filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar won the ‘Bas Kijiye Bahut Ho Gaya Award’, asking him to stop making films.

Seldom does one see so many divas stepping and dancing on stage if not together then at least at the same event. The 55th Filmfare Awards night on Saturday promises tons of fun and entertainment with onstage performances by a host of stars including Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor, among others.

Incidentally, choreographer Ganesh Hegde is giving the dance steps to both Kareena and Katrina. While Bebo will jig to songs like “Zoobi-Doobi” from 3 Idiots, Katrina has already promised a ‘phenomenal act’ to a medley of songs from her movies like New York and probably even ‘Paisa Paisa’ from De Dana Dan.

What’s this we hear? Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif sizzled in Race. Now we hear that these two actors will not do the sequel. The names of the girls who have been shortlisted apparently include Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone .

Wonder why Kat and Bipasha Basu have been left out? Of course, there are those who say that Bipasha has been left out because she once shared garam garam vibes with Saif. And Katrina has been excluded because Saif allegedly isn’t too keen to pair up with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor’s arch rival.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor are all set to star together in Anubhav Sinha’s Ra One, a home production of Shah Rukh khan.

According to a source, “Ra One is a science-fiction film set in the future in which Shah Rukh plays a superhero. So he will be seen wearing a cape, his underwear over his pants, flying over skyscrapers and saving the day. Technically, Ra One will be India’s third superhero film, Krishh and Drona being the first two. Ra One is a big budget film with never-before seen special effects.”
