Kareena Kapoor gave a surprise to the cast of “Aarakshan” by landing on the sets of the film in Bhopal, where her beau Saif is shooting with Deepika.

Her surprise visit on the sets has resulted in a subject of gossip in B-town. A close source from the Aarakshan unit stated “Kareena heard that Saif would be shooting some intense romantic scenes with Deepika, including a long kissing scene.”

He said further, “It is widely believed she rushed to Bhopal to ‘monitor’ the scenes. She was not too happy to hear about the kissing scene.”

Saif and Deepika developed a good rapport ever since they were casted together in “Love Aaj Kal”.

Kareena who is very possessive about Saif was a little upset with the steamy scenes. But Saif tactfully handled the situation.

Both Kareena Kapoor and Sid Mallya recently attended the Lakme Fashion Week, but without their better halves.

They both shared something in common. They are the lonesome couple in town. Often spotted together with their better halves, they were recently seen without their better halves.

Kareena was the main attraction on day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week. Kareena looked absolutely stunning dressed in a white anarkali designed by Manish Malhotra.

She was accompanied by Amrita Arora, Sophie Choudhury and Imtiaz Ali. Siddharth Mallya on the other hand was accompanied by Atul Kasbekar on Day 3 of LFW.

Saif and Deepika are both busy shooting for “Aarakshan”

She is perhaps amongst the luckiest of actresses to have upcoming films/ under production ventures with all the four major Khans. Yes it’s none other than Kareena Kapoor that we are referring to who is ruling the roost in Bollywood after two back-to-back successes with the all time blockbusters, 3 IDIOTS and now (expected) GOLMAAL 3.

Kareena’s upcoming films with the Khans are as follows:

Perhaps the biggest and most anticipated of all, the Anubhav Sinha directed, RA.ONE, opposite none other than Shah Rukh Khan himself. Then there is Reema Kagti’s next with the actor perfectionist and her co-star of 3 IDIOTS, Aamir Khan. There is also BODYGUARD with the newly reinvented and the in form, flavour and toast of Bollywood (after the humongous success of DABANGG) Salman Khan. Last but not the least is Sriram Raghvan’s exciting spy flick, AGENT VINOD, opposite her very own Saif Ali Khan.

It can be called a co-incidence of sorts that Kareena has upcoming films with all the four major Khans but the actress credits her own personal relationship with all of them and excellent work equation that has resulted in her doing films with all of them simultaneously, a rare feat indeed. Kareena accepts that she has been fortunate enough to have balanced it out with all of them and is extremely happy that so far it has worked out very well.

Certainly now we know the reason behind Kareena’s success, apart from hard work, talent, gorgeous looks, size zero figure etc. Are Katrina, Priyanka, Aishwarya, Deepika and Sonam listening?

Kareena Kapoor roped in to play the lead opposite to Aamir Khan: The latest buzz in tinsel ville these days is that Kareena Kapoor has been roped in to play the lead lady opposite Aamir Khan in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming flick.

The duo had earlier worked together in the blockbuster film “3 Idiots”. Deepika Padukone was a strong contender for this role.

An insider revealed “It’s a two-heroine film. Aamir was keen to repeat his 3 Idiots leading lady.”

Farhan and Riteish wanted Deepika for the role as they have earlier worked together in “Karthik Caling Karthik” but later they have decided to cast Bebo.

The insider also revealed that Katrina Kaif has been offered to play the role of the second female. The film will be a suspense drama which is slated to hit theatres on February 2011.

Salman’s next film with Siddiqui ‘Bodyguard’ was officially announced recently, and there was a lot of buzz, as speculations were rife as to who would be Salman’s arm candy. But it’s official now. Kareena will star opposite Salman in the remake of the Malayalam box-office hit film ‘Bodyguard’.

Salman’s sister Alvira and her husband Atul Agnihotri, who bought the Bollywood
rights of the Malayalam film, have signed Kareena for the film as they always felt that she would be apt to play the female lead, which was played by South-Indian actress Nayantara in the original version.

According to earlier reports, there had been rumors that Deepika, Asin and Katrina were approached for the role played by Nayantara in the original version, but the producer always felt that Kareena was the best suited heroine for Salman in the film.
Confirming the news about Kareena, Atul stated, “When we saw the original version done by Nayantara, we were convinced that only Bebo could do the Hindi version.”

By the way, after ‘Kyon Ki’, and ‘Main Aurr Mrs Khanna’ this would be the third time that Kareena would be sharing screen space with Salman.

Incidentally, it’s believed that the Mollywood director Siddiqui always felt that Kareena would do justice to the character of an MBA student.
Buzz has it that Kareena was not quite sure in the beginning to sign the film, since she had not seen the original version. But interestingly, after seeing the film the gorgeous actress readily agreed to be a part of it.
“We were waiting to show Kareena the film. We had already spoken to her about it and talks were on. But she hadn’t seen the original and couldn’t commit to the project without watching it. Kareena was in Mumbai recently for a brief period and that’s when we showed her the film. She liked the film and immediately agreed to be a part of it,” added Atul.
Presently, this movie is being remade in Tamil as ‘Kaavalan’ with Vijay and Asin in the lead roles.
Director Siddhiqui, who directed the original version of the film, has now been told to work on the Hindi version so that it synchronizes well with Salman’s image.

In 55th Idea Filmfare Awards, both Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan were the highlights of the celebration.

Shahrukh and Saif decided to do some giggling at the end of the show. On the stage Shahrukh said, “Friends tell me that I should not make fun of myself at shows. I believe if I can’t laugh at myself, I have no right to ask you to laugh with me. Saif was marvelous and I had a good time”.

“You were awesome. Well done, my man. God bless you. You are a treat to watch dancing”, these are the words showered by Shahrukh Khan on Shahid Kapoor, who gave an outstanding performance as a Michael Jackson for eight minutes.

Coming to Bollywood actress’s Shahrukh commented, “Vidya Balan looked ravishing, Bipasha towering, Deepika lovely, Katrina awesome and Missed Kareena”.

Finally he added, “thanks to Kiran Kotria, Veerdas and his team for the script. Alpa. Mushtaq. Great inputs. Hope people find it as much fun as we had making it. All the girls who help us backstage, Ganesh Hegde…Sanjiv…my fantastic dancers, thanks for making it so easy and nice. Nothing is without you”.

Fans can enjoy the show on Sony channel on March 7th.

And besides, we have to start thinking differently. In Inglourious Basterds, Christoph Waltz had a much better role but that didn’t stop Brad Pitt from being part of the film. We keep talking about the West doing things differently, but no one really follows it. Everyone is just bothered about the length of their roles, and how many songs and scenes they have. And for me, it’s not about screen time. It’s about being effective. How much money did you really make in 3 Idiots? (Giggles) Well, not even one third of what Raju, Vinod and Aamir made. But more than my bank balance, I am just happy that I am part of a film that has made history. Are you in discussion for another film with Aamir? You visited his house before you left for your European vacation with Saif… I went to Aamir’s house because I hadn’t seen him since his dad passed away.
