Life is hectic for Kareena Kapoor. She doesn’t even have time to meet her family and friends. “I catch up with them on the phone when commuting. It would’ve been nice to spend time with Saif (boyfriend Saif Ali Khan) at Cannes, but I have to shoot for Bodyguard. This year people are fighting for an hour of my time,” admits Kareena, who has three big releases to look forward to this year, starting with Bodyguard this Eid. The Salman Khan-starrer will be followed by the superhero fantasy film RA.One with Shah Rukh Khan that is due to release on October 26.

After Kareena Kapoor grabbed the female lead role from Bipasha and Katrina in ‘Race 2’, news has it that Priyanka is all set to join the bandwagon.

Talking about the newfound development to a news daily, a source said, “Katrina’s absence was almost certain because her character in ‘Race’ dies, but Bipasha’s absence is certainly surprising.”

Meanwhile, a close pal of Priyanka’s confirmed the news and said, “Priyanka still has to complete ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’. She will then move on to ‘Don 2’ and the TV Series ‘Fear Factor 3’. But she is excited about the character she’ll play in ‘Race 2’ and is working out her dates for the project.”

Kareena Kapoor’s Don 2 director is all set to turn lead actor for her. Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor are all set to sizzle in a film, to be directed by Sudhur Mishra.

Farhan tells Mumbai Mirror, “I’m looking forward to working with Kareena. She’s been a friend for many years. This script gives both of us a chance to try something we haven’t done before. We are in the process of finalising the deal.”

They also came together for a fleeting moment as co-actors in Luck By Chance.
