Ok, so the makers of ‘Milenge Milenge’ have led everyone to believe that their film is a success. While some may argue that how a film that nets just a little over 10 crores in its first week could be termed as a success in today’s time, especially since it stars top players like Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, producer Boney Kapoor has a strong reasoning. After all, the film was made on a medium budget half a decade back and even if one counted the interest, the ROI (return on investment) has been gladdening.

Kareena Kapoor completed a photo shoot for Boney Kapoor’s Milenge Milenge at Mehboob Studios over the weekend.

Her co-star Shahid Kapoor had already completed his part earlier (for reasons obvious!). The long delayed film is slated for a July 9 release.

Kareena kapoor will shoot Milenge Milenge movie promotional video on 30 May
Kareena Kapoor will finally shoot a promotional video of the long-delayed movie Milenge Milenge.
Kareena kapoor will shoot for the song on May 30, 2010.
The film Milenge Milenge, which was complete before the lead pair Kareena and Shahid Kapoor break up.
Movie Milenge Milenge got delayed and the recording of the promotional song kept getting postponed.
Shahid Kapoor has already shot for his part and after Kareena kapoor shoots hers.
The film Milenge Milenge will release in July 2010. Another interesting development is that all the six songs of the film have been re-composed.

Boney Kapoor has apparently decided to postpone the release of his five-year-old Milenge Milenge (with Kareena Kapoor) because his hero Shahid Kapoor has requested it.

No blasts from past
It is learnt that Shahid is keen that his upcoming releases are not blasts from the past. He doesn’t want to dilute the high Kaminey gave him, by following it up with a dabbe ka picture (as films long in the making are popularly called in B-Town).

Next, Boney Kapoor’s plans for shooting a promotional video for the film with Shahid and Kareena went berseck as Kareena went on her size-zero spree and the promoters of the film had to give up the idea. The promotional song had already been recorded with Himesh Reshammiya and as per the sources, now this song will be shot on Shahid and a new girl.

Boney Kapoor has been trying to bring the ex couple Shahid and Kareena together for his much-delayed film Milenge Milenge. He had earlier reported that they would shoot a promotional video for the film together. But the latest we hear is that Kareena has refused to act with Shahid. She said that she wouldn’t mind promoting the film along but not with Shahid.

‘Milenge Milenge’ was postponed by Boney due to financial problem. He was planning to make its release in April and to do a promotional song with lead pair Kareena and Shahid.

Unfortunately, Boney’s plans got flopped due to Kareena’s resent to appear with Shahid. According to sources report when Bony made his plan publicly, Kareena reacted negatively and made it clear to him that she is not appearing opposite her ex beau Shahid.

It’s finally time for Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor to reunite on-screen as their long delayed film ‘Milenge Milenge’ is set to hit theatres on March 5, 2010.

The release date has been confirmed by producer Boney Kapoor who continues to be passionate about his pet project in spite of it being in the making for half a decade.

“The principal shooting of the film is wrapped up and we are neck deep in post production. 5th March has been confirmed for release and we are finalising our marketing and promotional strategy,” Kapoor said.
