Karan Johar’s Short Term Shaadi starring Imran & Kareena goes on floors

Karan Johar has begun work on his next production called Short Term Shaadi, which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.

The movie, produced under the Dharma Productions banner and directed by Shakun Batra, has gone on floors. Short Term Shaadi also stars Boman Irani.

In 2010, Dharma Productions released three films namely My Name Is Khan, I Hate Luv Storys and We Are Family. Dharma is also co-producing an animation film with Prana Studios called Koochie Koochie Hota Hai, which will have voices by Shah Rukh khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji and will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The story is by Johar.

Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor have decided not to talk about their personal lives because they feel “it takes away the attention from your work.”

Dear New Actresses, if that were true, Kareena Kapoor would not have been the country’s No 1 actress. Bebo has never kept her relationship with beau shrouded in secrecy.

Dippy and Sonam rated Kareena Kapoor as the best actress among five other actresses on Koffee With Karan. So girls, next time, just think before you speak. Contradicting yourself in a span of ten minutes doesn’t make you seem very bright.

For his next production, he has asked Kareena Kapoor to return to her size zero figure so she will look compatible on screen with her co-star Imran Khan in the film tentatively titled Short Term Shaadi. Karan Johar usually asks his actors and actresses to go slim, and this he has practiced right from his first film when he asked Rani Mukherjee to lose weight for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Also he is the man behind Imran Khan’s hot, lean look for I Hate Luv Storys.

Now it’s said that the producer, who is planning a film with Imran and Kareena Kapoor on the lines of Ashton Kutcher-Cameron Diaz’s 2008 Hollywood hit What Happens in Vegas, wants Bebo again to be size zero.

Today, if a new film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor would have been announced, it would have made a huge noise for sure. However, that is missing in case of Milenge Milenge because the stars themselves are not quite leading from the front for the film’s promotion. Shahid Kapoor is in UK shooting for Mausam while Kareena Kapoor is off to Morocco to complete a quick schedule for Agent Vinod. Incidentally, both these films are their home productions.

The first look of the Kajol-Kareena starrer We Are Family is out. The first part of the three day campaign has Kajol and Kareena Kapoor on the poster with the words “Can two mothers make a home?”

Karan Johar had recently finalised (Read More) the title for the film, which is a remake of the Hollywood flick Stepmom. The director is also in a race against time to release the first promo of We Are Family with another film of his, I Hate Luv Storys.
