Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sony Pictures are to present Indian cinema lovers with the Bollywood Hindi movie Love You Ma (2010) starring Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. The film is a licensed Indian remake of the Christmas 1998 Hollywood English blockbuster STEPMOM (BUY DVD) directed by Chris Columbus starring Ed Harris, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, Jena Malone and Lynn Whitfield.

Indian pop-movie actress Kajol will try to match Susan Sarandon’s brilliant depiction of the estranged wife and mother hit with cancer. The film will be the directorial feature-film debut of Siddharth Malhotra.

Kajol and Kareena Kapoor shoot for Karan Johar’s Hindi version of ‘Step Mom’ with Arjun Rampal and three kids. Kareena says Kajol’s on-screen magic is invincible and she entirely loves the experience of shooting this film with Kajol. This flick releases in 2010. Bebo further adds that on November 16, 2009, they are scheduled to leave for Australia where they will wrap up a large piece of this flick. It is said that Kajol has worked her dates out in such a way that she can get her daughter Nysa to spend at least a part of her shooting schedule with her in Australia. Karan Johar has signed Kareena Kapoor for the sequel of ‘Dostana’. It was earlier heard that Katrina has been roped in for the same but now the buzz has it that Kat has been replaced by Bebo.

Under Karan’s banner, Kareena has recently shot ‘Kurbaan’ and is also working on ‘Stepmon’ which stars Kajol along with Kareena.

And now the rumor is that she is all set to take place of lead character in Priyanka Chopra starrer Dostana’s sequel.

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor- This was one pairing which has just started showing signs of being an established ‘jodi’ on the big screen. The forgettable past of ‘Chup Chup Ke’ was best left buried and it was time to herald a new pairing which could well have picked up from where Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol (in their younger days) had left.
