Says a source, “Recently, the actress shot for a shoe ad with beau Saif. Celebrity models are usually conscious about their legs looking even slightly plump, but not Bebo.

She was heard telling the photographer that the shapely look suits her much better than the skinny, size zero look. Apparently, the chote nawab approves of his gal’s new avatar.”

How else would you describe her grabbing a place in CNN go’s list of ’15 People Who Mattered Most in 2009′ in India despite delivering a string of flops last year? Her much- hyped films such as Kambakhht Ishq, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna and Kurbaan bit dust, before she scored a hit with 3 Idiots.

The CNN list includes scientists, politicians and people from the arena of sports and music. From Bollywood, the only others to make the cut are Ranbir Kapoor, music maestro A. R. Rahman and Abhay Deol.

“Kareena has fabulously carried off every single garment and has added a lot of panache and oomph to each of the looks,” says mercurial costume designer Akki Narula who has hand-picked 45 magnificent dresses for Bebo in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakhht Ishq. “We did a lot of research on the trend. The look had to be very very contemporary. We focused a lot on the bangles and the accessories. There are about 52 pairs of shoes that we have used in the film with the highest heels that any actress has ever worn and running all over the cobbled streets of Venice,” Akki adds excitedly.
