Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have announced on chat show Koffee with Karan that they won’t be lip-locking on screen anymore.

While Bebo wasn’t thrilled with Saif’s kiss with Deepika Padukone in Love Aaj Kal, he too expressed his reservations over her kiss with Akshay Kumar in Kambakht Ishq.

Despite their self-imposed ban, sources reveal that Kareena might have to re-think her strategy as Reema Kagti’s untitled film with Aamir Khan does have a kiss.

A source says: “Aamir won’t be too thrilled to hear that Kareena went on national television to announce her fatwa on kissing. He would have preferred her to discuss her stand with him.”

En route to her shoot for Karan’s film, Kareena says she’s put on weight and is loving it. While she definitely does not resemble the controversial ‘size zero’, the actor cannot be called ‘well-fed’ by any stretch of imagination! “But, it’s true. I am eating a lot these days. I have put on weight and love myself this way,” says the actor who drew a lot of flak for her thin look. “I have decided this is the way I am going to be.”

After a bad year of flops, 3 Idiots came as a much-deserved hit. “Frankly, I take every year as it comes. No regrets. I personally get bored doing roles such as Kambakht Ishq,” she says, while you blink in surprise at her candour. “I enjoy doing it for my fans. They love to see me in glam roles. But, if you ask me right now, I am very greedy for more meaty roles such as the ones coming up this year,” says Kareena.

Besides Karan’s film, Kareena is slated to work in a full-fledged role opposite one of her dream actors, Shah Rukh Khan, in Anubhav Sinha’s Ra. One, where she plays SRK’s wife. “My character is not what people are assuming it to be. I don’t play a virtual babe who fights and kicks. It is a comic character; she’s the fun and entertainment value in the film.”

As for Agent Vinod, Saif Ali Khan’s Illuminati Films-produced espionage thriller directed by Shriram Raghavan, Kareena is super excited. “Again, it’s not an action role as is being reported. I play a Pakistani CIA agent.” Ask her how Saif and she will be able to create magic at the box office when their two previous attempts — Tashan and Kurbaan — have failed, and she appears annoyed. “I don’t think jodis should matter. Scripts are supreme, and we actors are mere puppets. How about focussing on the roles instead? And just for the record, Shahid and I had five flops in a row before we hit it with Jab We Met,” she retorts.

On the sets of Karan’s Stepmom, Kareena is clearly enjoying the bond she shares with Kajol. “She and I get along like a house on fire. We are kind of similar; no-holds barred, spontaneous people. And, she’s a lovely, intelligent actor,” says Kareena. While Wangdu and Chanchad were surnames she didn’t want to take on in 3 Idiots, Kareena mulls over whether she wants to be a Khan soon. “Actually, I am quite proud of the Kapoor surname and would like to keep it for some more time. As for Khan, I’d give it a thought once this year is over,” she smiles.

The author clairified that the director took his book as the base of the movie however at the same time he also made changes accordingly. Bhagat also added the Hirani showed him the final script and he was quite happy with it.

With most part of the movie already shot- vital bits in the capital Delhi, other sequences in the extreme weather of Ladakh, and even some real location scenes at a hospital in Vashi which the director rented for a week. Furthermore, the music copyrights are being acquired by the famous T-series banner.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, who is set to sizzle the screen in the much awaited Kambakht Ishq movie, is not only looking hot these days, but she is also seething with fury.

Kambakkht Ishq was shot in a 300 year old villa New Delhi media was in for a shock as Kareena Kapoor staged a walk out of a press conference in the city where she was present to promote her upcoming film ‘Kambakht Ishq’. Visibly upset and fuming with anger, she marched towards her suite when a female reporter questioned her if she would be willing to go totally nude for camera if the script demanded so.

Informs an onlooker who was present at the venue, “The question shocked her. Just a few minutes back, she had patiently handled queries regarding her professional life. She had also commented around wearing a bikini in ‘Tashan’ and now ‘Kambakht Ishq’ mainly because the ‘script demanded it’. Though averse to doing so in future projects, she admitted that she would keep the subject and story in mind and would do ‘anything’ that is required by the script.”

Though it was a diplomatic stand on affairs, things went a little too far when an over zealous reporter popped the question – ‘Would you mind going nude for a role?’ “This was it”, adds the source, “Kareena lost her cool at that very moment and rather than choosing to blast the reporter and create a scene, she simply aborted her stay at the press conference. The flabbergasted reporter didn’t know what hit her. The event coordinator too felt disgusted about the entire incident and found himself in trouble as this situation was totally unforeseen.”

The source continues, “There were problems for Kareena from the very beginning of the event. First and foremost the chosen venue itself wasn’t conducive enough to handle a large media that had assembled. Around 100 odd reporters and journalists had gathered in a room that wasn’t large enough to host a mega celebrity press conference like this. With the claustrophobic venue not helping the cause enough, queries like these were enough for Kareena to blow her fuse.”
