After having snubbed each other at various celebrity events and pretended that the other party wasn’t there, Kareena and Shahid have finally met eye to eye and even talked, all the while smiling!
So what is going on? Well we hear the peace accords were signed thanks to Karan Johar! The former lovers both showed up at Shahrukh Khan’s party for his box-office hit “My Name is Khan” the other day, and if it hadn’t been for Karan, the two would have just gone about their usual ways and ignored each other.
But this time was different. Karan made sure Bebo and Shahid spoke for a while and as soon as they were a little bit more at ease, Kareena’s current beau, Saif Ali Khan, also came to say hi!

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sony Pictures are to present Indian cinema lovers with the Bollywood Hindi movie Love You Ma (2010) starring Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. The film is a licensed Indian remake of the Christmas 1998 Hollywood English blockbuster STEPMOM (BUY DVD) directed by Chris Columbus starring Ed Harris, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, Jena Malone and Lynn Whitfield.

Indian pop-movie actress Kajol will try to match Susan Sarandon’s brilliant depiction of the estranged wife and mother hit with cancer. The film will be the directorial feature-film debut of Siddharth Malhotra.

In all probability, Kareena Kapoor will be doing Golmaal 3, the third of the Golmaal series. The actress, who is presently shooting for Karan Johar’s Love You Maa, a remake of Stepmom, said. “I am doing the film 99 per cent as of now. It’s a great brand and my fans associate me with it. I think it’s a cool film to be in as I am the only girl amongst so many guys. Golmaal is a household brand as everyone talks about Golmaal and Golmaal Returns. Golmaal 3 will be a big film, and is awaited in a big way. I am not going to let anyone else take that brand away from me,” said Kapoor firmly.
As for charging 10 crore for the film, the shooting of which has already started in Goa on January 14, the actress clarified. “I am not charging 10 crore as reported. Anyway the price a star charges should never come into the open. I keep reading different figures in different papers. They are so bizarre,” she quipped.
