Kapoor, is facing neck-to-neck competition for the ‘Leading Role Female’ actress award at the 12th Annual International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) ceremony scheduled to be held in Toronto June 23-25.
Apart from Bollywood’s other top two beauties – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif – Kapoor is also facing tough rivalry from Vidya Balan and newcomer Anushka Sharma.

Kapoor has been nominated for her unusual tomboyish character in Rohit Shetty’s romantic comedy thriller Golmaal 3.

The film’s earlier two serials were also hits at the box office and liked all around the world for its different but extraordinary comedy.

Golmaal 3 completed filming on June 23 in Hyderabad, and the cast and crew celebrated with a private screening of the action comedy A-Team, followed by dinner.

Busy Kareena Kapoor could not make it to the break-up bash as she was shooting for a brand endorsement.

The rest of the cast – Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu watched the film at Ramoji studios at and later gorged on Hyderabadi Briyani during dinner.

Arshad Warsi raved about the Hyderabadi biryani in his tweets through the entire filming in Hyderabad.

Recently, Soha Ali Khan flew in Goa to drop on the sets of Golmaal 3. Like most of the people assumed that Soha landed there to meet with her hone wali Bhabhi and Saif’s beau Kareena Kapoor but the truth was far from this.

Kunal Khemu, who is also the part of the third version of the Golmaal unit, met with an accident while performing a stunt scene. Obviously, Soha heard of the accident and immediately rushed to Goa to check the condition of his very good friend.

Kareena Kapoor will be playing a tomboy character for the first time in Golmaal 3, being directed by Rohit Shetty.

It is learnt that while the director was writing the story, he decided to give Kareena’s typically glamorous image a break in the film and offer her an unusual part. He didn’t want her to do the glam doll act once again. He wanted her to be part of the gang of boys comprising Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade.
