Kareena Kapoor has done her most daring and steamy scene yet with beau Saif Ali Khan in Karan Johar’s Kurbaan. The first lot of pictures of her bare back and her liplock with Saif are part of the film’s initial promotions, and the reactions are flying in. Although Kareena thinks it is much ado about nothing, “Not once did I feel awkward while shooting any scene for the film. It’s always easier to shoot for romantic and passionate scenes with someone you are dating, because of the comfort level. Also I am very close to Rensil D’Silva (the director) while Karan is like family and I trusted them completely. I knew whatever they shot would come out very classy. And the poster proves that.”

After making waves across India with its scintillating promos and mesmerizing music, Kurbaan, a Dharma Productions film and a UTV Motion Pictures release directed by Rensil D’Silva, is all set to enthrall international fans on November 20 worldwide and November 19 in the Middle East.

Kareena Kapoor has said that she expects Kurbaan to be a hit with both critics and audiences.

Kapoor claimed that the Rensil D’Silva film will portray her in a different light to her last role in Kambakkht Ishq.

She told IANS: “I am so confident that in Kurbaan, audiences will take to my character in a big way.

“The girl’s role is very strong in Kurbaan and I have worked really hard on my performance. I’m expecting a lot from the film.”

Kurbaan, which is scheduled for release on November 27, also stars Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi.
