Eros International’s Kambakkht Ishq opened to extraordinary advance bookings on July 3, and has since grossed Rs 100 crore worldwide in its first week – making it one of the most successful openings in Indian cinema.

Kambakkht Ishq has grossed Rs 70 crore in India, (Rs 42 crore net) and Rs 21 crore overseas, with the music and digital platforms grossing Rs 10 crore. The film has been produced at a cost of Rs 62 crore including print and advertisement cost.

It is only Kareena Kapoor who is ruling Saif’s mind and heart at the moment despite sharing intimate scenes with Deepika Padukone in ‘Love Aaj Kal’. Chotte Nawab missed his ladylove so much that he could not keep away Bebo’s memory even while portraying scene with Deepika. Bebo was in Saif’s memory when he was doing close scenes with Deepika.

Saif said, “I missed her (Kareena) very much. Had she been in the film, it would have been great. Besides, I always miss her when we work apart. Often she gets busy with her own shooting schedules and I tour to some other locations away from her. In such situations I miss her, but luckily, she is very understanding.”

Saif Ali Khan may have locked lips with Deepika Padukone in the upcoming film Love Aaj Kal, but it was Kareena Kapoor who was on his mind and in his heart the whole time.

Contradicting reports claiming that he and Deepika ‘enjoyed their love scenes’, the Chhote Nawab said that he missed Kareena on the sets of the film.

There has a been a lot of speculation as to why Bollywood superstar, Kareena Kapoor will not be seen at the IIFA this year.

At first it was reported that Kareena was supposed to perform the song Marjani from Billu at the IIFA 2009 ceremony. However, it is now confirmed that not only is she not performing but has also refused to attend the event all together

Kareena, it is reported, wanted the IIFA event to open and close with her performances, but the organisers weren’t ready to let her occupy both their key spots, as at least one is kept reserved for the Bachchans, since Big B is the brand ambassador of IIFA.

Everything is a result of your decisions and it has been a different experience producing a film for the first time. Right now I am nervous because as a producer you are never satisfied and you want more. But we have taken care of every detail and it has been organised well. We have had a great team, and I have learnt a lot in the process,” says Saif Ali Khan, who is all ready with his first production Love Aaj Kal.

When asked if he had shown the film to his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, Saif smiles and says, “Yes, and she loved it.”

Kareena Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali are all set to recreate the magic of Jab We Met by teaming up together in a snack ad.

After the success of Jab…, Bebo was keen on working with Imtiaz Ali again, but the director chose Deepika instead in Love Aaj Kal.

According to sources, Kareena insisted that Imtiaz should direct her in the ad as she was “dying” to work with the director.

A source has revealed the concept of the ad. “The concept is much like the story of Jab We Met. Bebo will be wearing ethnic salwar-suits and would run through the sarson ka khets.”
