In an exclusive interview with TOI actor Shahid Kapoor, while talking about his hasty and inexperienced decisions in the past, revealed that he did films for his girlfriend (Kareena Kapoor). The actor said frankly that as he was inexperienced in the Bollywood industry he did films for different reasons and one of them was his ex-girlfriend Kareena being a part of any film.

Today, if a new film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor would have been announced, it would have made a huge noise for sure. However, that is missing in case of Milenge Milenge because the stars themselves are not quite leading from the front for the film’s promotion. Shahid Kapoor is in UK shooting for Mausam while Kareena Kapoor is off to Morocco to complete a quick schedule for Agent Vinod. Incidentally, both these films are their home productions.

After Pankaj Kapoor witnessed the remarkable chemistry between Shahid and Kareena in ‘Jab We Met’, he set out for another romantic project ‘Mausam’ keeping the Shahid-Kareena jodi in mind, but things took an opposite turn when the couple broke off. The film is of an romantic genre and will be shot in five countries- UK, Spain, Italy, Austria and India. It is expected to start in January 2010.

Now, Pankaj Kapoor is in a fix regarding the female lead for his directorial venture and has decided to go for an international hunt for the female lead of the film. Also, Pankaj couldn’t get a producer for a long time. Finally, Religare Vistaar Entertainment stepped in to produce the film.

Pankaj had in fact written the script of his directorial debut keeping Kareena in mind. The one time lovers had last starred together in Jab We Met before their much publicised break up. Ironically it went to be their biggest hit together after the couple in the heydays of their courtship had delivered some duds.
