Kareena Kapoor who features in the third chapter of Shobhaa De’s book on fashion that is expected to hit the stores by the year-end, insists that it will not probe into her personal life that is already under the media microscope, but will project her as a Bollywood style icon to the youth. “

What about Pooja from Tashan (2008) given that she triggered off the size zero phenomenon? “Of course size zero will figure, since it sparked off a national debate. That’s one subject associated with me that can never be forgotten,” retorts Kareena, who has written the foreward to her dietician friend, Rujuta Diwekar’s book, Women And The Weight Loss Tamasha.

Admitting that she lost weight for this particular Yashraj production that also brought her and beau Saif Ali Khan together, Kareena reasons, “I think I’m the best person to guide youngsters on how to knock off those not-needed pounds in the right way.”

Kareena hopes to launch her fashion line by the end of 2011. “Simple, ready-to-wear clothes that stand out for their casual chic, the kind that make up my everyday wardrobe. But bringing out a label takes times that’s in short supply this year,” sighs the actor who already has a clutch and a pizza named after her and is the brand ambassador for a Size Zero laptop. “I’m juggling with five big movies with the five Khans, Bodyguard, RA.One, Agent Vinod, Stand By Me and a still-untitled film with Aamir Khan. With these and my ad shoots, 24 hours is not enough,” she says.

Latest reports reveal that the ‘Omkara’ star Saif Ali Khan is still on with the ‘Kareena’ tattoo carved on his left arm and will continue to keep it forever.

It all started when a radio channel based in Delhi had announced that Saif had done away with the tattoo.

Saif, who has been dating gorgeous Kareena Kapoor since three and a half years, had engraved a temporary ‘Kareena’ tattoo in Devanagari script on his left arm. However, later on, he made a permanent one.

Interestingly, there were reports that the Chhote Nawab was encountering certain difficulties on shooting certain action close-up sequences in ‘Agent Vinod’ with the ‘Kareena’ tattoo. So, he decided to cover it, rather than exhibiting it.

A little birdie familiar with the matter revealed Mumbai Mirror, “The tattoo will not be seen at all in Agent Vinod. Many action sequences are shot in close up frames and so director Shriram and Saif decided to hide the tattoo.”

While the ‘Agent Vinod’ star said, “It is not tedious at all and a lot of actors abroad do it. It’s simple and I am doing it. I cover it with normal foundation and powder.”

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, ‘Agent Vinod’ features Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The film is all set to hit the theatres on Dec. 9, 2011.

Kareena added “Festive seasons are pretty much working for me. Now on Eid comes ‘Bodyguard’ and then in Diwali it would be ‘Ra.One’.”

She said, “I am sure my lucky stint with festivals would continue in 2011 as well.”

Kareena told that this time she has tried to pick those scripts that have excited her and are not the stereotype films. Earlier also she has tried her hands in films like “Chameli” and “Omkara”.

She said that her festive season is always busy and proves lucky for her films. This year Eid will come with “Bodyguard” and Diwali will be celebrated with “Ra One”.

She also said that all the five films have different subjects which are the driving force for her in 2011.

Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are very upset these days as their real life characters have been portrayed as animated characters in the forth coming Ajay Devgn and Kajol starrer movie titled Toonpur Ka Superrhero.

According to reports, the movie has Ajay Devgn playing the role of a super star and in one of the sequences Ajay the superstar is seen shooting for his film Omkara.

Since the film also had Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as prime actors, Toonpur Ka Superrhero has the two playing characters from Omkara but in animated form. Saif’s animated character also has a tattoo of Kareena on his hand and Kareena’s animated character is shown as having a great attraction for Ajay Devgn’s character in the film.

Now reports are that such a thing about their characters in the animated form and the spoof on the tattoo in the movie was something which the couple was not aware of at all. It was only after someone close to them went and saw the film and came and told Saif and Kareena that they came to know about the fact.

Saif was quite hurt as he is quite a close friend of Ajay Devgn and would have expected to be told about such a fact from him, moreover the producer of Toonpur Ka Superrhero –Kumar Mangat is also quite close to Saif, as he had produced Omkara too which had Saif and Kareena in it.

Kareena Kapoor on her part was not too pleased as recently she and Ajay Devgn had bonded quite well during the shooting of the Rohit Shetty flick Golmaal 3’.

However, there has been no initiative towards making it obvious to the film maker or the actors of Toonpur –about their feelings, as reportedly Saif and Kareena are waiting to see the film themselves before going into any kind of speculations further in the matter.

Two back-to-back good films and Aditya Roy Kapur has made his mark with his acting skills as well as good looks. Ask him what kind of films we would see him doing now and he says, “The response so far has been great. It’s all very new to me.

Everyone from the industry has been very supportive and encouraging. Well, honestly I don’t think I should restrict myself by deciding on a particular genre. I enjoy acting ,so if the script excites me, I won’t think twice about doing it . So it could be anything from action to slapstick to a romantic comedy. I am still discovering myself as an actor.” The young actor has been floored by Kareena Kapoor and Tabu, who are definitely his favourite actresses. Aditya is also awed by Saif’s talent.

“I enjoy the characters played on-screen more. I think Kareena (Kapoor) was fabulous as the feisty chatter box, Geet, in Jab we Met. Tabu is also such a versatile actress. She was fantastic in two drastically different films like Cheeni Kum and Maqbool. Saif as the scheming, evil Langda Tyagi (Omkara) is another one of my favourites. You really end up hating his character,” he says. Meanwhile, Aditya is happy doing good roles and learning from them than thinking about breaking into the top league soon.

“Right now I can’t even think of breaking into that league without putting in the hard work they have put and without earning the respect of the audience which can only be done over time. So I don’t want to get ahead of myself and start thinking of the big league,” he ends.

“I love watching movies and I have more than one to recommend. I think every film lover should watch three of my grandfather’s films which are my ultimate favourites.
Actually I love all his movies but I feel that these three – Awaara, Sangam and Bobby – are his best. They all belong to different eras and tell totally different stories.
They showcase the best in Hindi cinema. Among the current movies, the ones I’d recommend are Omkara and Jab We Met.
They are a great watch as again both are from different genres but are equally entertaining in vastly different ways.”
