Kareena Kapoor seems to be the latest actress to have shown fondness for a girl child after Sushmita Sen and Preity Zinta have done so before. In a recent interview to a fashion magazine, Bebo said how she’d love to have a baby girl when she’d start a family.

Just recently Sushmita Sen adopted a second girl child saying, “In India when everybody is giving up the girl child, there’s a huge majority of girl child in orphanage. Even if I choose to adopt a third child, it will be a girl. When I’ll give birth biologically I won’t have choice anyway and I’d be happy to have a son then.”

The Stardust ‘Best Film and Director’ 2010 Award went to film “Chintuji” while Preity Zinta bagged ‘Best Actress’ for her film “Videsh”.

Amitabh Bachchan took the ‘Star of the Year’ award for his mind-blowing performance in “Paa” whereas Kareena Kapoor grabbed ‘Star of the Year Female’ for her films “Kurbaan” and “3 Idiots”.

Preity Zinta shot for a song with Kareena Kapoor for Main Aur Mrs Khanna.Now, there may be nothing new about two actresses sharing the screen space, but it was different this time around because both these ladies shared pretty cold vibes sometime back. It was Kal Ho Na Ho that had sparked of a war of words between the two. However, there were no fireworks when the two shot for a song for the movie. In fact we hear Preity, who was down with high fever, refused to stall the shooting. On the sets the two got along fine and danced their hearts out.

Bollywood beauties Preity Zinta, Juhi Chawla and Shilpa Shetty are trying their luck in the business of cricket through the Indian Premier League (IPL), but Kareena Kapoor says she has no such plan as she doesn’t have a business sense.

Asked if she planned to enter IPL like other actresses, Kareena said: “I have no idea about business. I only know how to act. As for business, I will think about it five years later.”

Kareena, who was last seen with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a song in “Billu”, is busy working for forthcoming films like “Kambakth Ishq”, “Main Aur Mrs. Khanna”, “Three Idiots” and an untitled Renzil D’Silva project.

Kareena Kapoor puts professional rivalry behind her and bonds with Preity, Bipasha and Priyanka

Looks like Kareena Kapoor is truly making efforts to put behind professional rivalry and personal differences with other leading ladies. Apparently, the fact that she invited Preity Zinta and Bipasha Basu, among others, to Saif’s birthday party is indication that the actress on a bridgebuilding spree. Our source close to the actress revealed, “Kareena broke the ice with Preity when she invited her for Saif’s birthday. In fact, Preity jokingly told Kareena, ‘Saif is my best friend and I have to be nice to you’. That made Kareena break into laughter and the two have been good friends ever since.”

The immediate context is the shooting of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Khanna in which Kareena is paired opposite Salman Khan and also stars Priety Zinta in a cameo.

But what got Priety rankling was Kareena’s size zero figure. So Preity has started working out in a gym.

Directed by debutante Prem Soni, the film, which revolves around the theme of extramarital affair, is expected to release near the end of 2008. Sources inform us that SRK has also agreed to do a cameo for the film due to his friendship with Salman.
