Kareena Kapoor loved the fact that her character in her upcoming film Golmaal 3 is named after her dad-Daboo! Now she wants to associate with her dad professionally as well. Bebo wants to work in a project with her father.

“He (Randhir Kapoor) has been doing quite some films of late and I would love to work with him and even my uncle (Rishi Kapoor). They are both superb actors. It would be a privilege to work with them.”

Dedutant director Siddharth Malhotra of the recent release We Are Family, has already started planning for his next film. Initially, he wanted to make a film with Kajol but she is on maternity leave so the director has opted to work on a family comedy starring veteran star Rishi Kapoor.

This movie by Siddharth will concentrate on a father and a daughter. The director wants Rishi Kapoor’s niece and Bollywood babe Kareena Kapoor to play the role of the daughter of the actor. However, the casting of daughter is not finalized yet. But the director is reportedly hell bent on creating cinematic history by casting Kareena’s famous uncle as her father.

The Kapoor family is putting final touches to an ambitious plan — they intend to revive the RK Films’ banner 11 years after they temporarily folded up operations. The banner was set by the late Raj Kapoor in 1951.

The film-maker’s eldest son Randhir Kapoor says, “We are working on it (revival of the banner). We have met a few people and we will make an announcement very soon.”

The last film produced by the banner was Aa Ab Laut Chalein in 1999. That film bombed at the box office and post that the banner was temporarily shut down.

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, who has turned producer with his forthcoming film Love Aaj Kal, says it was Kareena Kapoor who recommended Imtiaz Ali as director for his first production venture.

Kareena had worked with Ali in the successful romantic comedy Jab We Met.

“Kareena highly recommended Imtiaz when I decided to produce a film. At that time ‘Jab We Met’ hadn’t released. So I met him… it was the script and the way he narrated it to me that really impressed me and we decided to make Love aaj Kal,” Saif told reporters.

Chotte Nawab missed his ladylove so much that he could not keep away Bebo’s memory even while portraying scene with Deepika. Bebo was in Saif’s memory when he was doing close scenes with Deepika.

Saif said, “I missed her (Kareena) very much. Had she been in the film, it would have been great. Besides, I always miss her when we work apart. Often she gets busy with her own shooting schedules and I tour to some other locations away from her. In such situations I miss her, but luckily, she is very understanding.”

saifkareena2Saif Ali Khan may have locked lips with Deepika Padukone in the upcoming film Love Aaj Kal, but it was Kareena Kapoor who was on his mind and in his heart the whole time.

Contradicting reports claiming that he and Deepika ‘enjoyed their love scenes’, the Chhote Nawab said that he missed Kareena on the sets of the film.

Saif said, “I missed her (Kareena) very much. Had she been in the film, it would have been great. Besides, I always miss her when we work apart. Often she gets busy with her own shooting schedules and I tour to some other locations away from her. In such situations I miss her, but luckily, she is very understanding.”
