Saif Ali Khan had a crackling chemistry in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ with Deepika Padukone. And finally the duo is coming up with 3 more films together ‘– Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, Abbas-Mastan’s Race 2 and Homi Adajania’s Cocktail.

Their crackling chemistry led to some issues between Deepika and chote Nawab’s girl friend. But Deepika rubbishes all rumors and confirms that she has no issues with Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor.

It all started when Imtiaz chose Deepika instead of Kareena for Love Aaj Kaal. Deepika feels comparison is inevitable, but there’s no competition or animosity.

They were a successful pair in Love Aaj Kal. And now, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone will be seen in three films together – Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, Abbas-Mastan’s Race 2 and Homi Adajania’s Cocktail. The duo’s chemistry that was much-spoken about during Imtiaz Ali’s 2009 release had apparently led to some issues between Deepika and Saif’s girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor.

When asked whether these three films together may rake up that past, Deepika says, “Such reports haven’t changed my equation with Kareena. There is no animosity with her or Katrina,” says Deepika. “A lot of these stories are media created. I don’t even get a chance to interact with them to have an issue.”

The actor tried to play down the fact that Imtiaz and Prakash chose her over Kareena in Love Aaj Kal and Katrina in Aarakshan respectively by saying, “I have no idea if they wanted to be part of Aarakshan. And as for the comparisons, they are inevitable.”

Saif, who is happy about his pairing with Deepika in the forthcoming films, insists that the duo wouldn’t get monotonous on screen. “We have consciously tried to do things differently in these films, so that the pairing doesn’t look repeated,” he says, before Deepika added, “When we signed these films I wasn’t aware that we both were cast together. It’s a happy coincidence.”

No, Kareena and Saif are not the lead stars of the film; Saif and Deepika Padukone are.

Kareena is accompanying Saif in the capacity of his partner.

This year Deepika is doing three films with Saif. Besides the soon to be released Aarakshan, there is Cocktail and Abbas Mustan’s Race 2. You would think that would cause Kareena to become insecure.

During a recent tête à tête Deepika assured us that she was being frequently paired with Saif only because they rocked in Love Aaj Kal (2009), and producers now consider them a lucky and successful screen couple.

Kareena is not in the least bit concerned over the frequent pairing, Deepika said, and any report that Kareena is, is pure media speculation.

So folks, we are not suggesting any insecurities on the part of Kareena, even though we are hearing about them from a source.

We are just reporting that Kareena will be in London with Saif for 10 days of the month long Cocktail schedule.

Kareena, who is currently filming for Reema Kagti’s next, has a 15 day break and plans to spend most of it shopping in London.

Kareena Kapoor who features in the third chapter of Shobhaa De’s book on fashion that is expected to hit the stores by the year-end, insists that it will not probe into her personal life that is already under the media microscope, but will project her as a Bollywood style icon to the youth. “

What about Pooja from Tashan (2008) given that she triggered off the size zero phenomenon? “Of course size zero will figure, since it sparked off a national debate. That’s one subject associated with me that can never be forgotten,” retorts Kareena, who has written the foreward to her dietician friend, Rujuta Diwekar’s book, Women And The Weight Loss Tamasha.

Admitting that she lost weight for this particular Yashraj production that also brought her and beau Saif Ali Khan together, Kareena reasons, “I think I’m the best person to guide youngsters on how to knock off those not-needed pounds in the right way.”

Kareena hopes to launch her fashion line by the end of 2011. “Simple, ready-to-wear clothes that stand out for their casual chic, the kind that make up my everyday wardrobe. But bringing out a label takes times that’s in short supply this year,” sighs the actor who already has a clutch and a pizza named after her and is the brand ambassador for a Size Zero laptop. “I’m juggling with five big movies with the five Khans, Bodyguard, RA.One, Agent Vinod, Stand By Me and a still-untitled film with Aamir Khan. With these and my ad shoots, 24 hours is not enough,” she says.

That actress’ Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra aren’t exactly buddies is a rather well-known fact in B-Town. Infact, the two apparently share enough cold vibes to make the distance between them a freeze zone. That both Bebo and PC are actress Shahid Kapoor’s exes now, don’t help things either.

There were ripples again on this calm surface when PC recently dropped by on the sets of Bebo’s beau actor Saif Ali Khan and even spent a considerable time with him. Sources say that PC’s attempt at friendship with the chhote Nawab proved to be a damp squib. “Priyanka’s no nuisance,” Kareena, apparently, laughed off the matter.

However, sources insist that knowing PC, her act was only meant to instigate Kareena. “Luckily she didn’t fall for the bait, but that doesn’t mean that she’s not watching out for her to try it again,” said a source.

Interestingly, Khan’s co-actress Deepika Padukone on the other hand is gaining brownie points as being Kapoor favourite Saif co-star. And those close to the couple reveal that she even talks highly of Deepika. “Though Saif is known to have shared a good rapport with Deepika on sets and the chemistry was also interesting in their last film together, Love Aaj Kal, Kareena knows there’s nothing to worry there. So, she’s pretty comfortable with Saif acting with Deepika again in his next films too. Besides, she’s a professional when it comes to matters like these,” the source added.

“Both look good on screen,” Kapoor had earlier said about Khan;s pairing with Padukone. As for Khan working with Chopra in the future, she adds, “I am working with other actors and so is Saif. Neither of us has any problems in that.” But when it comes to choosing co-stars, we’re sure that Khan certainly knows the ones to avoid for now.

Kareena Kapoor is an adamant girl of sorts. The girl hails from a khandaan that religiously thrives on hardcore non vegetarian diet. But surprisingly, she has refused a whopping Rs 6 crore offer to endorse a chicken brand.

Reportedly, Bebo, who turned a disciplined vegetarian while dating Shahid Kapoor has turned down a tempting endorsement offer. And the brand failed to persuade the pretty lass who was hell bent on her convictions.

Ironically, the girl who once used to relish sumptuous non-vegetarian diet was voted by PETA as the world’s sexiest vegetarian in 2008.

A tabloid had quoted Kareena as saying, “If my fans are looking up to me and have turned vegetarians then I am happy about it. I am a pure vegetarian and it helps me keep fit and healthy. I am aware that my fans have liked my look in Tashan. If they turn vegetarian for that, then I am glad I set an example.”

Kareena is so happy going green that she has been taking charge of converting non-vegetarians into complete herbivores! Vivek Oberoi (Bebo’s ‘Kurbaan’ co-star), who apparently ate a variety of non-vegetarian food plans to turn a vegetarian owing to her influence.

However, Bebo has been finding it very hard to convince her beau Chote Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan embrace vegetarianism. A strict vegetarian now, Kareena cannot stand the smell of an egg even.

Buzz has it that the actress, who had to eat egg for a scene in her latest flick ‘Short Term Shaadi’ opposite Imran Khan was on the verge of puking on seeing eggs.

Shahid might no longer be a part of Kareena’s life but the habit that he inculcated in her shall remain with her for ever.

Are we right Bebo?

Saif Ali Khan will disclose his wedding plans only after the release of his film Agent Vinod. The much-awaited marriage of Bollywood lovebirds, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, will be finalised once Saifu’s home production’s fate is sealed. “Yes, everybody is asking about our marriage plans. But I want to make it clear that I will not say anything now to ensure that people don’t divert their attention away from Agent Vinod. Let’s talk about it later… For now I want to focus on the movie,” says Saif.

Speaking about the daily gossip being dished out in the media and tonnes of news reams being wasted on the same, not to forget about the precious airtime of the channels too, the Chhote Nawab says, “There will always be the attention of media and audience on our personal life and I have no objections. I don’t have any problem about the questions that people ask because I believe everybody has the right to ask. But what is important is whether we want to speak about it or not. We will surely reply if we deem it fit.” Some words of wisdom those are. So, does Bebo guide him in his personal and professional life? “Kareena always gives me tips and advises me, but when I feel I am right I do what my mind says,” he tells us.

Kareena Kapoor still enjoys her style queen tag. The actress, who suddenly rose to fame with her size zero and style quotient, is thinking of making her debut on TV with a reality show based on fashion.

As per reports, Kareena has been approached to host a reality show for which she is being offered a whopping amount, approx Rs 1 crore per episode, to be aired on a global entertainment channel. In the show, Bebo will be giving tips to the contestants on how they could style their looks and will give them makeovers too.

Kareena is not denying the news, while talking to a daily, she says, “Yes, I am getting lots of offers but I don’t want to say anything right now.” Now many would think that the show would be a rip-off of some style show from the west. But it’s learnt that the show is not a rehash of America’s Top Model or any other fashion related show, and will be based on a unique concept.

Kareena is keping busy with films and she has several endorsements deals too. She is right now shooting for Bodyguard with Salman Khan and next on her priority list is beau Saif Ali Khan’s much-awaited Agent Vinod, but she will be seen next in Shahrukh Khan’s film Ra.One.

So, amidst Khans and big films, how Bebo will find the time to do a TV show? The sources claim that the actress won’t mind a TV show and is negotiating her take-home pay and also the terms for the show.

Kareena Kapoor doesn’t seem to mind Priyanka Chopra bonding with Saif Ali Khan…

It’s a well-known fact that actresses Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra never got along. And the relationship strained even further once Priyanka Chopra began, allegedly, dating Kareena Kapoor’s ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor.

Well only recently, Priyanka Chopra found herself shooting at a studio that was located in close proximity to Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Agent Vinod’ sets. Priyanka took the liberty to ‘drop in’ on the sets and even had someone take her around. She was quick to say a cordial hello to everyone around. Luckily for her, Kareena Kapoor wasn’t on the sets that day.

However, Kareena Kapoor doesn’t mind PC’s prying ways at all. She says she is only too secure about her man, who has eyes for nobody else but her. However, ask her about Priyanka Chopra meeting Saif, and she simply shrugs it off as the last thing that could be considered ‘bothersome’.

There’s news that Saif has already asked Kareena to marry him…
