Sanjay, Kareena in Mahesh’s film?

Mahesh Manjrekar is gearing up to make a film he had put on hold 10 years ago.

The Vaastav director had wanted to make a love story with Sanjay Dutt and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles, but he then fell out with his good friend Sanjay and so shelved the project.

Now that the two have patched up once again, Mahesh is eager to start work on his film. Tentatively titled Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani, it tells the story of a disfigured man and a blind girl who fall in love.

Madhur lines up a bevy of stars to inspire Bebo

Kareena Kapoor will draw inspiration from four Hollywood icons – Ava Gardner, Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe – for Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine. She plays a Bollywood actress in it. Bhandarkar has specially prepared a documentary featuring the four legends for Kareena to prepare for her role.

If the absence of Bollywood greats from Kareena’s method preparation for the role amazes you, Bhandarkar’s explanation for it is even more baffling. “I haven’t found anything interesting about Indian actresses,” he declares.

Imran Khan keen to work with Kareena, not Aishwarya

“No,” said Imran when asked whether he is keen to work with former beauty queen-turned-actress Aishwarya. “I’m most keen to work with Kareena. Both of us shot for a chat show last week and I had great fun,” said Imran.
