Imran Khan, will soon start shooting for his next movie Short Term Shaadi, by Aditya Chopra. The movie will also star two leading ladies, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor. Imran will face camera almost after three months. The shooting for Karan Johar’s Short Term Shaadi has been scheduled in Pataudi. The young actor of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na fame has travelled various parts of the country, but had never been to Pataudi.

Karan Johar has denied reports that Short Term Shaadi headlining Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor is an adaptation of the Hollywood film ‘What Happens in Vegas.’

“The movie is not an adaptation. It is an original story written by the writer of the film and Shakun (Batra) is the director of the film with Imraan and Kareena in it. It is not an adaptation of ‘ What happens in Vegas,’” Johar told TOI.

The film is scheduled to be shot in Las Vegas starting early October.

Kareena Kapoor feels that she has managed to strike the right balance between commercial and meaningful cinema. The actress likes doing different roles and can’t do just those films where she is looking pretty and singing and dancing. The actress considers her debut film ‘Refugee’ (2000), a special one because she always wanted to prove herself as an actress and not to just as a glam doll. Kareena Kapoor has rubbished press reports that Karan Johar wants her to shed weight for her upcoming film – Short Term Shaadi.

“I am amazed Karan has told the whole world about it but has not discussed anything with me,” Kareena told reporters at a presser for We Are Family on August 24 [Via Mid-Day].

Kareena back to a slender frame: Kareena Kapoor is once again going back to her size zero figure for Karan Johar’s upcoming flick “Short Term Shaadi” opposite Imran Khan.
