Kareena Kapoor chose to lavish kith, kin and pals with serene white Buddhas, which she believed would usher in peace and prosperity. The other Kapoors, Anil and Sonam, bagged the bigger glory with their smart gifting, as they decided to invest a lot more brightness into the lives of those they valued. Hah, quite literally.

Reportedly, Kapoor sent out huge designer candles in bronze boxes that had Buddha statues on their lids to all their well wishers. Anil Kapoor, who’s famed for his generosity turns red with embarrassment over the spate of compliments received over his gifts… and swiftly passes on the credit to spouse Sunita who expressly designed them.
