A crackling love triangle between Kareena Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Chitrangada Singh in Sudhir Mishra’s upcoming film ‘Dhruv’ is set to scorch the silver screen.

Mishra, who is earlier worked with Kareena in ‘Chameli’ and Chitrangada in ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ is set to bring the two beauties on screen in an sensual love story with Farhan.

“It is about two women madly in love with the same man (Farhan) who is involved in politics,” Chitrangada, who was here at the launch ceremony of management guru Arindam Chaudhuri’s book ‘Discover The Diamond in You’, said.

Noted filmmaker Sudhir Mishra has once again roped in his lucky mascot Chitrangada Singh to play a power-broker in politics in his upcoming venture ‘Dhruv’. Along with his apparently favourite actress, Sudhir has also cast none other than Kareena Kapoor in the role of a politician for the film.

In the film, which would also star Farhan Akhtar, Chitrangada will play a femme fatale of politics and the underworld.

Confirming the news, Sudhir said, “Both, Kareena and Chitrangada are so different in beauty, talent and personality that I’ve conceived two dramatic sequences featuring them. In terms of their looks, screen presence and the characters, Kareena and Chitrangada are poles apart.”

Kareena Kapoor’s Don 2 director is all set to turn lead actor for her. Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor are all set to sizzle in a film, to be directed by Sudhur Mishra.

Farhan tells Mumbai Mirror, “I’m looking forward to working with Kareena. She’s been a friend for many years. This script gives both of us a chance to try something we haven’t done before. We are in the process of finalising the deal.”

They also came together for a fleeting moment as co-actors in Luck By Chance.

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s company Excel Entertainment will produce a film based on the political dynamics of the man-woman relationship, to be directed by Sudhir Mishra in which Farhan will be paired opposite Kareena Kapoor. Director-turned-actor, Farhan confirmed the news and said, “I’m looking forward to working with Kareena. She’s been a friend for many years.
