Kareena wore a red sequined halter top atop a black sequined cami and lighweight black silk harem pants with bubble hem, front pockets and long golden chain details. She accessorized with black square toe leather pumps, multiple bangles in her left arm, and multiple rings in both her hands. Her long glossy brown hair styled away from her face was left open with a side parting. She wore light lip gloss but departed from her signature eye makeup focussing more on the eye shadow than the dark thick eye liner.

Kareena Kapoor seems to be the latest actress to have shown fondness for a girl child after Sushmita Sen and Preity Zinta have done so before. In a recent interview to a fashion magazine, Bebo said how she’d love to have a baby girl when she’d start a family.

Just recently Sushmita Sen adopted a second girl child saying, “In India when everybody is giving up the girl child, there’s a huge majority of girl child in orphanage. Even if I choose to adopt a third child, it will be a girl. When I’ll give birth biologically I won’t have choice anyway and I’d be happy to have a son then.”

Boney Kapoor is maha excited. Not over Wanted, his September blockbuster that got close to Rs 40 crore billing, but by his January releaseMilenge Milenge — which is the last time you will see Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor romantically paired on screen.

I don’t have to tell you the film’s been in the making for a while, but Boney is confident it will be successful. “I can feel it in my bones,” he said emphatically, “why should it not work, it’s a good love story, it’s got fantastic music.” But what about the chemistry between Kareena and Shahid, I asked. “That’s there,” Boney declared, “besides, once the lights are off in the theatre, you forget whether they are a couple or not, and they become characters.”
