According to the grapevine buzz, when a reporter asked Kareena recently whether she is agreeable to doing nude scenes in the future, the actress walked off in a huff, leaving the media person shocked and speechless.

Your character in the film is called Simrita Rai. Tell us more about her.
Simrita is a feminist. She doesn’t like love, she doesn’t like men and she doesn’t like relationships. The reasons for all this are established in the film. Actually, what happens to her and how and why she falls in love forms the story of Kambakkht Ishq.

Look what a strike does for you. It makes a sixty day dry spell and then when it calls it off, within four hours of notice; there are hundreds of media personnel present to attend the exclusive press conference of Kambakkht Ishq at Taj Lands End in Bandra. It wasn’t the media alone who were given a short notice. Akshay Kumar had to fly down from Karjat in an hour’s notice and Kareena had to rush from Mehboob Studios to attend the grand event.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will sport a dress worth Rs 800,000 for a song in Kambakkht Ishq. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had specially ordered it for the actress from Paris.

“When the song was completed and the whole crew had a look, it looked very beautiful and eye catching. But most importantly everyone’s eyes were stuck at seeing Kareena’s dress. Kareena was looking gorgeous. The dress cost Rs 800,000,” said a source close to the producer.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s magnum opus Kambakht Ishq starring Kareena kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Carmen Electra, Sylvester Stallone and some other Hollywood stars have been given an A rating by Censor Board as they did not find it fit enough to be aired on TV.

Regional Officer, Censor Boards, Vinayak Azad says, Yes, we have given the promos an A Certificate because of which it can’t be shown on television.

He adds, Kareena calls Akshay a dog and in turn he calls her a bitch. Apart from this scene, there is also a line indicating that women are only meant for making love. I found that very inappropriate, because in a promo you can’t understand the context of the scene as we have not yet seen the film.”

The promo of Sajid Nadiadwala’s movie Kambakkth Ishq has its leading stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor calling each other canine names.

The movie’s trailer was set to air on television from this weekend but may not go on air because the Censor Board deems it unfit for mass viewing and has given it an ‘A’ certificate.

According to reports the promo has certain objectionable content.

The Board’s regional officer is quoted as saying that the promo as has Kareena calling Akshay “a dog”. Akshay responds to her in same vein by calling her “a bitch”. If that’s not objectionable enough there’s a dialogue that says that women are only meant for making love.

Sylvester Stallone didn’t make it, but Sajid Nadiadwala’s birthday party at a Juhu nightclub on Tuesday was made up by the hot leading pair of his next blockbuster Kambakht Ishq — Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.

he night was long, the party private and cosy, and the guests were the toast of the season. Akshay came in late with wife Twinkle dressed in an Indian ensemble. Picking up a glass of wine, he retired to a corner and hung out with Farah Khan
and husband Shirish Kunder. Work was discussed, naturally, because he’s working with Stallone in Kambakht Ishq and Kylie Minogue in Blue. “Stallone looks so good and fit… amazing guy,” said Bollywood’s action hero who looked a million bucks himself that night.
