Kareena Kapoor began the New Year with a bang. She has a lot to offer to her fans this year as she is all set to explore five new films with the Khans.

Her upcoming projects comprise of “Ra One” with Shah Rukh Khan, “Bodyguard” with Salman Khan, “Agent Vinod” with beau Saif, an untitled psychological film with Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and “Short Term Shaadi” opposite chocolate boy Imran Khan.

Kareena told “There has been a conscious call to pick different genres from the films that excite me most.”

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is all set to share the celluloid with five khans in 2011. Kareena will offer a big treat to her fans in the New Year.

2010 was not so pleasant for Kareena in term of movies, one hit ‘Golmaal 3′ and two flops, ‘We Are Family’ and ‘Milenge Milenge’ but 2011 has stored a lot for her with five movies in pipeline.

She will be sharing screen with Shah Rukh Khan in “Ra One”, with Salman Khan “Bodyguard”, with beau Saif “Agent Vinod”, with Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan an untitled psychological film and with chocolate boy Imran Khan “Short Term Shaadi”.

Leaving behind a not-so-great 2010, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is all set to explore various genres in the new year with five films in the pipeline.

While ‘Ra.One’ with Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest of all, there is also ‘Bodyguard’ with ‘Dabangg’ star Salman Khan.

The 30-year-old actress will be seen opposite boyfriend Saif Ali Khan in ‘Agent Vinod’ and Imran Khan in ‘Short Term Shaadi’. She is also in talks to star with Aamir Khan in a yet untitled psychological thriller.

Karan Johar has begun work on his next production called Short Term Shaadi, which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.

The movie, produced under the Dharma Productions banner and directed by Shakun Batra, has gone on floors. Short Term Shaadi also stars Boman Irani.

In 2010, Dharma Productions released three films namely My Name Is Khan, I Hate Luv Storys and We Are Family. Dharma is also co-producing an animation film with Prana Studios called Koochie Koochie Hota Hai, which will have voices by Shah Rukh khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji and will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The story is by Johar.

A while ago Shahid Kapoor was seen attending a special screening of We Are Family. The moment the pictures appeared in the papers, an imaginary story was cooked up on how Karan Johar had invited Shahid Kapoor to watch the film and thereby brokered peace between the former lovers.
However, then that is far off from the truth. Kareena Kapoor’s cousin and the director of the film Siddharth Malhotra is actually a close friend of Shahid, who had in fact invited him to watch the film. Some journalists can really be good fiction writers for sure who can read between the lines, put two and two together and make a story which can be a subject for a film too.

Kareena Kapoor will celebrate her 30th birthday in Paris. And of course, there’s no prize for guessing that boyfriend Saif Ali Khan will be with her on the day-September 21.

Bebo and Saif are expected to fly to Paris a day early. Last year, the two were in the US for Kareena’s birthday.

In 2008, they celebrated it in Ladakh where Bebo was shooting for 3 Idiots. We guess their relationship is getting stronger by the day.

The combination of ace filmmaker Karan Johar and his friend, Kajol, has resulted in blockbusters such asKuch Kuch Hota and My Name is Khan early this year.

Johar and Kajol also worked together in the family tear-jerker Khabi Khushi Khabie Gham, which starred Kareena Kapoor. While Johar and Kajol have developed a strong friendship, his bond with Kapoor soured after Khabi Khushi Khabie Gham. The feisty actress turned down Kal Ho Na Ho due to financial reasons.

Karan Johar is known to have played agony aunt in the past; in trying to patch up co-actors like Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan and of course, Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan (who had had a fallout during the making of Chalte Chalte).

But it seems the producer is now concentrating on mending his own relationships. Person in question: Shahid Kapoor.

Shahid and Karan had supposedly had a fallout with one another after Shahid had walked out of Karan’s film Kaal in 2005 because he apparently was not too happy with his role in the film.
